Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the FolioFolk app you agree to these terms.

1. The service

FolioFolk provides a social community, market data, simulated (paper) trading and creator subscriptions. Trading is simulated; no real money or securities move. See the Disclosures and Methodology.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person may hold one account.

3. Content

You own what you post and grant FolioFolk a licence to display and distribute it within the service. Do not post unlawful, misleading or manipulative content, undisclosed paid promotion, or content that infringes others' rights. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms.

4. Track records

Simulated fills are executed by the platform and cannot be edited, deleted or backdated. Account resets are recorded permanently. Public performance figures come from the platform ledger only.

5. Creators and subscriptions

Creators must keep their disclosures accurate. Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple ID, renew automatically until cancelled in Settings › Subscriptions, and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policy.

6. Market data

Market data is provided for personal, non-commercial use and may be delayed or inaccurate. Do not redistribute it.

7. No advice, no warranty

Nothing in the service is investment, legal or tax advice. The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, FolioFolk is not liable for indirect or consequential losses or for decisions you make based on content in the service.

8. Termination

You can delete your account in Settings; deletion completes after a 30-day grace period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law.

9. Community guidelines

Be honest and civil. No harassment, hate, spam, impersonation or pump-and-dump coordination. Report abuse from any post; repeated violations end accounts.

10. Sponsored content and endorsements

Any paid, sponsored or affiliate relationship behind a post must be disclosed in the post, consistent with FTC endorsement guidance. Undisclosed promotion is removed.

11. Copyright

Send takedown notices with the post link, the work infringed and your contact details to [email protected]. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

12. Creators and subscribers

Creators keep the rights to their research, must keep disclosures current, and may not promise returns. Subscribers may not redistribute subscriber-only content. Subscription revenue is settled by Apple; FolioFolk pays creators its published share.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app; continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
